Excited for Joel Hussey | Letter

I’m so excited to see Joel Hussey run for office again. Joel has lived in the district for many, many years. He is a Husky, a family man and has started his own company right here in Redmond. Most people know him from the Bellevue Christian School, of which he is a former president, or the Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association, which he saved from a major budget crisis.

Joel is really passionate about early learning and fully funding K-12 education. He would not vote to increase college tuition if elected. He supports the idea of a balanced budget and cutting wasteful spending, which echoes the needs of the people of the district. I think Joel will be successful in his bid to raise the standards of education in Washington state. He is not only well qualified, but a genuine person who you can count on and trust to get the job done.
