Female arrested for second-degree assault

Redmond police officers arrested a 23-year-old female for second-degree assault on Sept. 26 in the 18000 block of Northeast 98th Way.

According to Redmond police, at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to a confrontation between a 46-year-old male and the female, who were involved in a verbal altercation. The female spit on the male, who then pushed her away. The female retaliated by retrieving a knife and swinging it toward the male.
