At approximately 8:25 a.m. on Sept. 27, Redmond police officers responded to the report of an assault in the 16000 block of Northeast 82nd Street.

According to Redmond police, a 20-year-old victim had been beaten, resulting in facial injuries, at a party earlier that morning. Police contacted the involved parties, who said that a contact of the victim’s girlfriend – a 20-year-old male – was involved in the assault. That male was later questioned by one of the responding officers, who filed charges of second-degree assault.
