Overlake girls set for tonight’s bi-district tourney | Prep basketball

Overlake’s girls basketball team will host Mount Baker at 7 p.m. tonight in the 1A Bi-District 1/2 tournament. The loser is out and the winner will play on Saturday.

Overlake finished third in the 1A Emerald City League and is 13-7 overall.

On the Overlake boys’ side, the Owls earned a first-round bye in the 1A Bi-District 1/2 tournament and will play Sultan at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at Mountlake Terrace High. The winner will qualify for state regionals.

The Owls finished second in the 1A Emerald City League and are 16-4 overall. They have won eight of their last nine games.
