Redmond’s Kudryashov goes 1-2 at state wrestling tournament

Redmond High’s Alex Kudryashov wrestled at 170 pounds at last weekend’s Mat Classic XXVII at the Tacoma Dome.

In his first match, he lost to Derek Fry of Bethel, 7-3.

Next up, he defeated Gerardo Lepez of Sunnyside, 7-3, but then lost to Javier Martinez of Union, 8-3, to exit the tournament.

Martinez and Fry finished fifth and eighth, respectively.
