David DeLay and Marysa Comer’s trial has been moved from March 30 to April 27, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney Office.

There will first be an omnibus pretrial hearing on April 17, during which the prosecutor and defendants’ counsel will determine the admissibility of evidence, including testimony and evidence seized at the time of arrest.

As previously reported, DeLay, 48, was arrested Jan. 12 at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport after arriving on a flight from Chicago. He was charged with three counts of promoting prostitution in the second degree, one count of extortion in the second degree, one count of tampering with a witness and trafficking.

Comer, 20, was DeLay’s partner and was arrested on Jan. 13 at a Chicago hotel and was booked into Cook County Jail in Chicago. She returned to Washington and was booked into the Seattle Correctional Facility on Jan. 29 for failure to appear and promoting prostitution in the second degree, according to the Redmond Police Department (RPD).

RPD learned about this after two victims from Redmond contacted the department.
