Redmond set for 4A Kingco track and field championships

Redmond will compete in the 4A Kingco track and field championships on May 13 and May 15 at Juanita. The competitions begin at 4:30 p.m.

At press time, Redmond had 10 athletes on the league top-five lists:

• Matt Dickinson, pole vault, tied for first with a 14-6

• Bettina Beverly, triple jump, second with a 34-7.50

• Katrina Nielsen, triple jump, third with a 34-4

• Steve Brown, 110-meter hurdles, third with a 15.44

• Colin Cottom, discus, third with a 132-11

• Lauren Winner and Zana Crites, high jump, tied for fourth (with four others) with 4-10s

• Devin Wulff, 1,600-meter run, fifth with a 4:21.95

• Elizabeth Yochum, triple jump, fifth with a 32-1.25

• Callahan Homer, high jump, tied for fifth with a 5-10
