Redmond boys soccer downs Issaquah, 2-1, in playoffs

Keito Suzuki scored the deciding goal in Redmond’s 2-1 boys soccer victory over Issaquah on Thursday in the opening round of the 4A Kingco Tournament.

Redmond’s Pablo Gallo Arias scored first off an assist from Jonathan White in the 39th minute, Issaquah’s Mitch Keller equalized in the 69th and then Suzuki scored off a Gallo Arias assist in the 76th.

Redmond will next play Skyline at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Mount Si.
