Redmond United Methodist Church will hold Fill The Truck food drive at Derby Days Grand Parade

Redmond United Methodist Church is having a Fill the Truck food drive during this year’s Derby Days Grand Parade at 11 a.m. July 11.

Bring a bag of non-perishable food items to the parade route, watch for the church’s truck and hand your donation to a walker in a dark blue shirt. Donations will benefit Redmond Nourishing Network’s feeding programs such as Open Kitchen, Hopelink, Pantry Packs, Hawks vs. Hunger and the City of Redmond Summer Feeding Program.

Church members are also be accepting non-perishable food items at the church (16540 N.E. 80th St.) now through July 10 during regular office hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Sundays.
