Former Assistant Police Chief Kristi Wilson gets sworn in by City of Redmond attorney James Haney as the new police chief for the Redmond Police Department. Samantha Pak

Former Assistant Police Chief Kristi Wilson was sworn in as the new police chief for the Redmond Police Department (RPD).

She is replacing Chief Ron Gibson who is retiring Thursday.

Wilson has been with RPD since 1993. She has been in law enforcement since 1987, beginning her career at the Anacortes Police Department.
