The Redmond Police Department’s (RPD) next Coffee with a Cop with Police Chief Kristi Wilson will be from noon to 2 p.m. on June 1 at Victor’s Celtic Coffee, 7993 Gilman St. in downtown.

The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve.

Coffee with a Cop is a national movement, which focuses on building relationships between law enforcement and community members. It brings people together in-person at neutral locations to provide the opportunity for real conversations about issues that matter. Citizens and police officers have the opportunity to get to know each other and discover mutual goals for the communities they live in and serve.

RPD joined the movement in June 2015 and has held three events so far.
