Overlake’s boys basketball team notched the Friday Harbor Tournament crown for the third straight year with a 51-46 victory over Seattle Lutheran in the final on Dec. 3.

Owen Friend had 15 points and Tellier Lundquist added 12 points for Overlake, which trailed 25-20 at halftime. The Owls outscored Seattle Lutheran 15-7 in the third quarter to take a 35-32 lead and the locals held a 16-14 advantage in the fourth quarter to win.

Overlake (4-0 overall) also defeated Meridian, 68-59, and Cedar Park Christian, 69-49, at the tourney.

Against Meridian, Lundquist had 23 points, Friend had 21 points and Bryce DeLay had 13 points and 16 rebounds.

In the Cedar Park win, Friend had 24 points, followed by Zeyad Daher with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Lundquist with 10 points and nine rebounds.
