Redmond Crossfire squad competes in England

Redmond Crossfire Select team O’Melia B02 made it to the New Balance International Cup semifinals in Huddersfield, England this month. The boys won their group stage against London’s Pro Elite Football Academy and squads from Nigeria and England. Scottish team Currie Star defeated the locals in the semifinal game.

The team also had training and scrimmages at St. George’s Park with the English Football Association Academy, Fulham FC and Bedfont Sports Club.

The team completed the English football tour with six matches, four training sessions and attending three professional matches and two English Premier League stadium tours in 12 days.
