First District Congresswoman Suzan DelBene announced that Matt Isenhower will join her staff as district director.

Isenhower grew up in the 1st District, attending Lake Washington public schools for grades K-12 and spending many hours camping and hiking in the Cascades as he earned his Eagle Scout award. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy, he served as a naval officer deployed off the coast of Somalia and South America. He went on to earn his master’s degree in business administration from Harvard.

Isenhower, his wife and their two young children make their home in Redmond. Prior to accepting the district director position, Isenhower ran for the State Senate in the 45th Legislative District and worked for Amazon.com.
