Police investigate assault with hammer on Redmond Way

Redmond police took an assault report at 12:29 a.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. Police are investigating the incident, which occurred between a group of males outside a local restaurant.

According to police, two victims were struck with a hammer and one was seriously injured. Investigators believe many of the individuals involved know each other from previous interactions.
