Redmond High graduate Cassandra Lawrence receives $1,000 scholarship from Audrey Gorlick Foundation

Cassandra Lawrence, a June Redmond High School graduate, is this year’s recipient of the $1,000 Nokomis Scholarship funded by the Audrey Gorlick Foundation.

Cassandra Lawrence, a June Redmond High School graduate, is this year’s recipient of the $1,000 Nokomis Scholarship funded by the Audrey Gorlick Foundation.

Lawrence is the daughter of Phyllis Stengl and Richard Lawrence.

Cassandra plans to attend Seattle Pacific University majoring in education.

This award recognizes high academics, community involvement, extracurricular activities and future goals.

Cassandra is a member of the National Honor Society, a National Merit Commended Scholar, and a peer coach for students with disabilities. She also instructed six elementary students in piano basic skills, theory and technique.
