A 59-year-old man who was seriously injured when a truck struck the worker last Thursday morning in Redmond was at Harborview Medical Center and in stable condition as of Friday.

According to Redmond Police Department neighborhood resource officer Julie Beard, members of the Redmond police and fire departments responded to the collision at 8:37 a.m. in the 4200 block of 150th Avenue Northwest. The victim, an Arlington resident, was working in the loading dock of a building when a delivery truck was backing into the dock, unaware that the worker was present.

A full investigation is occurring. At this time, there is no evidence that the truck driver was impaired.
