Redmond High set for baseball playoffs tomorrow night

Redmond High’s baseball team continued to roll through its 4A Kingco regular season with a 5-3 victory at Eastlake High on Monday. Next up for the Mustangs (11-3 and atop the Crest Division and 14-5 overall) will be a meeting with Issaquah in the playoffs at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Woodinville High.

Next up for the Mustangs (11-3 and atop the Crest Division and 14-5 overall) will be a meeting with Issaquah in the playoffs at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Woodinville High.

Against Eastlake, Brandon Burditt and Brendan Ecklebarger each supplied two-run doubles and Jacob Brady got the win from the mound with solid relief help from Jack Baugher.

Redmond also knocked off Bothell, 6-2, on May 2. Kyle Francis earned the win and had two hits and two RBIs to help his cause. Other top hitters were Daniel Bies with two hits, Brady with a home run and Lucas Eliason with two hits and two RBIs.
