The Lake Washington High School PTSA announced the four recipients of the 2016 Sheeley Scholarship Award. The recipients are: Loann Nguyen, McKenzie Granston, Sarah Rose Shuer and Hugo Pontes.

The PTSA scholarship is named in honor of a beloved former school counselor, Louise Sheeley, and recognizes students for outstanding achievements in school and in the community. The scholars will each receive $1,000 toward their college tuition. All four are bound for the University of Washington, and Granston will attend the Foster School of Business there.
