Dropping in at Skate Jam

The Old Fire House Teen Center hosted its Third Annual Skate Jam competition last Saturday at the Edge Skate Park. There were 20 competitors and about 100 spectators at the event.

The winners were:

• Beginner: Vincent Thomas, 8 years old

• Intermediate: Bailey Ibrahim-McCullough, 14

• Advanced: Joel Cendyas, 17

• Best Trick: Tony Martinez, 18

Sponsors included Zumiez, Molly Moon’s Ice Cream, Blazing Bagels, KIND Bars and Sausage Skateboards.
