Redmond volleyball takes second in league, playoffs are next

Redmond, which had a season high in blocks with 16.5, also benefited from the solid play of Ally Ford (27 assists), Shelby Bowman (13 digs, eight kills) and Christine Lu (11 digs). Sasha Heywood contributed some crucial kills.

The Mustangs took second in league with an 11-3 record; Mercer Island was first at 14-0.

Redmond will face Bellevue (10-4) again at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the playoffs at Bellevue.
