The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) recently awarded Eastside Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with an Award of Distinction, recognizing the organization as a top behavioral service provider in the country.
Eastside ABA is an organization that works with children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities to teach them life-long skills for a rich and meaningful lifestyle using ABA.
ABA is backed by many years of research and widely recognized as the most effective treatment for autism. Eastside ABA was established in 2005, with a clinic located in downtown Redmond. In addition, they provide therapy across King County in homes, communities and schools to ensure their clients attain and successfully execute necessary life skills in the natural environment.
The BHCOE acts as a third-party to systematically measure quality criteria in the behavior analysis community, using standardized methods and practices, and awards agencies that meet elite standards. The award celebrates exceptional providers that excel in the areas of clinical quality, staff satisfaction and qualifications and consumer satisfaction. The evaluation process entails a rigorous wide-ranging audit, including interviews with clinical leadership, a staff qualification review, an anonymous staff satisfaction survey and an anonymous consumer satisfaction survey.
“At Eastside ABA, we take pride in the dedication and strength of our team, organizational integrity, and commitment to producing behavioral, social and academic outcomes for our clients,” said Paul Johnson, a board certified behavior analyst with the organization. “We are thrilled to be honored by BHCOE with this Award of Distinction and our team looks forward to providing ethical and effective behavioral services throughout the Seattle/Bellevue/Redmond area for years to come.”
