Tuesday, March 7

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 11:50 a.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. An adult female was observed taking more than $300 worth of groceries from a store without paying for the items. The suspect was known to store employees and theft charges will be filed with the court.

Monday, March 6

Robbery: Redmond police took a robbery report at 9:05 p.m. in the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. An adult victim said he was approached by a suspect who demanded his wallet. The victim handed over his wallet and the suspect fled on foot. No injuries were sustained. Possible fraudulent credit-card charges are being investigated to identify a suspect.

Sunday, March 5

Fraud: Redmond police took a report regarding fraudulent credit-card use at a business at 8:06 p.m. in the 11500 block of Avondale Road.

Damaged mailboxes: Redmond police took a report regarding damaged community mailboxes at 8:20 a.m. in the 14800 block of Redmond Way. An apartment complex representative reported that, in addition to the damages, some items of mail were found on the ground. Follow-up is ongoing with the residents to identify potential victims.

Saturday, March 4

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 2:40 p.m. in the 10100 block of 176th Avenue Northeast. A resident reported that someone stole a package from her front porch after it was delivered. The case is under investigation.

Friday, March 3

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 6:21 a.m. in the 4300 block of 156th Avenue Northeast. Officers responded to the area after receiving calls of a disturbance inside an apartment involving a house guest with mental/emotional issues. It was discovered that the suspect threatened the residents while holding a pair of scissors. While no injuries were involved, one resident was assaulted during the incident. The suspect was arrested on felony charges and booked into jail.

Thursday, March 2

Burglary: Redmond police took a burglary report at 11:09 a.m in the 19100 block of Union Hill Road. Someone broke into a locked storage shed and stole an outboard boat motor. The case is under investigation.
