USA TODAY High School Sports named Redmond resident and Eastside Catholic senior offensive lineman Jason Medeiros to its 2018 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Washington Football Team. The 6-foot-2, 275-pound Crusader and Air Force commit is an offense first-team selection.

Eastside Catholic notched the 3A state championship, 31-13, over O’Dea in November and won the GEICO State Champions Bowl on Dec. 22 by beating Centennial from Arizona, 17-0, in Peoria, Arizona. Other Redmond residents on the squad were Kevin Brown, Max Englehart, Matthew Nguyen and Will Reed.
