March 18

Sleepy driver: At 2:15 p.m. in the 9300 block of Avondale Way, a 35-year-old man was arrested after he was found passed out behind the wheel of a running car. Officers suspected the man was under the influence and they found drug paraphernalia on the floor of the car. The suspect was booked into jail. Charges are pending.

Extra-long number: At 12:30 a.m. in the 8900 block of 162st Avenue Northeast, officers spotted a male urinating on the outside wall of a business. While being questioned, the man showed signs of intoxication. When he was asked for his phone number, the man gave far too many digits. The man, 38, was cited for unlawful public exposure.

March 20

Stolen pups: At 9:22 a.m. in the 13200 block of Northeast 190th Place, a dog breeder reported that two adult dogs and nine puppies had been stolen out of an unlocked building on her property. The victim told police the dogs were seen last at 9 p.m. the night before and were gone when her brother went to check on them 12 hours later. No one in the residence heard or saw anything suspicious and there was no video footage taken. The suspect has not been identified.

March 21

Car prowl: At 8 a.m. in the 15800 block of Bear Creek Parkway, a woman found her car window smashed in and several of her things stolen from her vehicle. The suspect’s identity is not known.

Boat theft: At 7 p.m. in the 17400 block of Northeast 40th Place, several pieces of electronics were stolen from a boat by an unknown prowler.
