Redmond’s Michael Conforto went 4-for-4 on Saturday night, notching his first Major League Baseball hits in the New York Mets’ 15-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

According to the Mets’ Twitter: “@mconforto8 says the first hit baseball will go to his grandfather who couldn’t make the trip. His dad was here.”

Conforto’s first hit was a first-inning single. He also had two doubles, an RBI and four runs scored.
