As any elementary school child will tell you, police and firefighters protect our communities.
What every police and firefighter will tell you is that they want to work with people who understand the dangers of their jobs and want to make it safer for them.
That’s why I’m voting for Roger Goodman. He doesn’t have nominal police support from local organizations, rather, he has broad-based, state-wide police and fire support and endorsements. He gets it.
He knows that police dislike going to homes with reports of domestic violence — risk of injury and danger skyrocket. He also knows that stress that responding to drunk driving incidents place upon police and fire units.
That’s why he increased the penalties to those who commit crimes of domestic violence and drunk driving.
Roger Goodman, like police and firefighters, want to protect our homes, families and freedom. That’s why the Washington State Troopers Association, Washington State Troopers Lieutenants’ Association, Law Enforcement Administrators of Washington (Sheriffs and Police Chiefs), Washington Fire Chiefs, Washington State Council of Firefighters, Kirkland, Redmond and Woodinville Firefighters support him … and so will I.
