Redmond’s Emerald Heights, a continuing care retirement community with on-site health care services, has named Grant Linacre as its executive director. He has been serving as interim executive director since October 2015.
As executive director, Linacre is responsible for day-to-day operations at Emerald Heights. Among the top priorities Linacre will be focused on in 2016 is finalizing plans for addition of a new assisted living building on the Emerald Heights campus, and a future repositioning of semi-private skilled nursing beds to private rooms.
Previously he has held various roles with Life Care Services, most recently serving as executive director of Greenwood Village South, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Greenwood, Ind. He also has served as the administrator at Issaquah’s Timber Ridge at Talus and North Oaks Retirement Community in Baltimore.
Linacre earned his bachelor of science degree in psychology from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. He also is a licensed nursing administrator in Washington, Indiana and Michigan.
When asked about his new role, Linacre said, “I’m very excited about being a part of the future of Emerald Heights and helping to ensure that its’ long tradition of excellence continues.”
