OneRedmond expands their economic development prowess as it brings on Kristina Hudson, two-time international award-winning expert, as its director of business expansion.

Hudson has worked to create thousands of jobs in the region and has been acknowledged as one of the nation’s leaders in cluster economic development. Hudson has received two International Economic Development Council (IEDC) awards, including the prestigious “Best Technology-Based Economic Development Program.”

“From the start, it was clear that OneRedmond has the vision and leadership to make things happen,” said Hudson. “It is an exciting place to be and I look forward to joining the team and making a difference in the community.”

“OneRedmond’s first priority in growing the regional economy is to support the expansion of our existing businesses,” said Bart Phillips, CEO of OneRedmond. “I am thrilled to have someone with Kristina’s skills, energy and track record to join our team to lead this effort.”

Hudson is the founder and executive director of the Washington Interactive Network (WIN), the first Interactive Media-focused economic development program in the United States, and one of the oldest cluster economic development programs in existence. WIN was founded in 2004 and is now seen as a model for establishing technology hubs and industry clusters in use around the world.
