During the next two weekends, SecondStory Repertory presents Split 2nd Improv, the Eastside’s only professional improv troupe.
The shows, which are crafted based on audience suggestions, will be Jan. 13-14 and Jan. 20-21 at 9 p.m. “Family Friendly Fridays” offer PG-13 entertainment while “Sinful Saturdays” feature the popular Split Second Blue Show, where anything can happen (and often does) and anything goes.
Shows last approximately two hours with a 15 minute intermission. Concessions including beer and wine will be available. Tickets are $15.
Since it opened in October 1999, SecondStory Repertory has offered a year-round season of musicals, comedies, reviews, and dramas, as well as its Theater for Young Audiences series for audiences ages 4 and up. The theater also presents contemporary rock and folk concerts, improvisational comedy, poetry readings, informal stagings of new works and many other special events. In all, there are more than 150 performances each year.
