Sammamish police officers responded to calls of multiple fights on Friday night at the local McDonald’s following a rival boys basketball game between Eastlake and Redmond.
Zach Alleva is not a student at Eastlake High, but his name will be in the swimming record books.
Alleva, a junior at The Bear Creek School in Redmond who swims for the Eastlake High team in Sammamish, won the 100-yard breastroke at last Saturday’s Class 4A state competition with an All-American consideration time of 58.07 seconds.
A five-and-half year wait will be put to rest on Monday when some of the largest names in professional golf make their way to Sahalee Country Club for the 2010 U.S. Senior Open.
