BECU will celebrate the grand opening of its new Neighborhood Financial Center at 11 a.m. on March 25 at 16325 Cleveland St. in Redmond. City Council member John Stilin will be cutting the ribbon to officially open the new center.

At approximately 3,200 square feet, the new location — located in the Elan Apartment Complex — has five consultant desks, two ATMs with 24-hour access, a conference room and two online banking kiosks. Members can use the location to establish accounts, apply for loans and perform financial transactions — including free ATM, online and telephone banking services, with staff assistance, if needed. In addition, members can make an appointment with experts who can help with everything from retirement and estate planning, buying or refinancing a home or growing their business with BECU Business Services.

“Our move to the new location was in response to the growing needs of our members in the area. With over 16,000 members in the area, our previous location inside of the nearby Safeway grocery store did not afford us the room to meet the needs of our membership,” said Kellie Alleman, BECU’s manager of the Redmond location. “As anyone in the state is eligible to join BECU, this new location will allow us to continue to grow within the Redmond community while ensuring that we are able to meet the needs of our current members.”

The new center will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
