Carolann Joy Salon, a boutique salon and spa specializing in woman’s beauty, recently announced that it has changed its company name to C. Joy Salon.

Owner Carolann Joy said in a press release that the new name better reflects the company’s growing creative team and their ultimate passion of helping woman find inner joy.

“Three years ago when I started this salon it was just me,” she said in the press release. “Today, our salon staff consists of six girls performing a variety of different services and we are currently interviewing to add a seventh person to our team. As the salon has rapidly grown, I felt the name change more accurately portrayed our team as a whole.”

Since its inception, the company has steadily expanded from a small one-person, 300 square-foot hair salon with a small base of loyal clientele to a full-scale salon and spa with a large clientele base and a 1,100 square-foot space.

“It no longer is just me, now I am surrounded by an amazing team of talented and passionate artists,” Joy said. “I wanted the focus off of me and turned to us as a group. I believe the name changed accomplished this.”

For Joy, the name change has an even deeper meaning.

“One of my greatest joys of being a hair artist is seeing my clients lives transformed as their inner confidence grows because they become confident in their own skin,” she said. “As the salon owner I’ve created an environment where we bring out a woman’s natural beauty, emphasizing her features and ultimately giving her a style that compliments her God given look and chosen lifestyle. By doing this, I have found that woman become confident from the inside out and that can change everything for the better from your health to your career.”
