Keeney’s Office Supply named King County’s Small Business of the Year

Keeney’s Office Supply in Redmond was named King County’s Small Business of the Year in King County Executive Dow Constantine’s third-annual Small Business Awards to honor hard-working business owners who create local jobs and contribute to the regional economy.

Constantine celebrated the importance and the accomplishments of small businesses throughout the county when presenting the awards at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue on Sept. 25.

“Congratulations to the nominees and winners, and I applaud their entrepreneurial spirit, which is a hallmark of our regional economy,” said Constantine.

At a breakfast-hour ceremony, more than 200 people from local chambers of commerce, cities and small business organizations watched as winners were announced.

Redmond’s Magellan Architects was a finalist for Minority Small Business of the Year.
