Massage Envy Spa and the Arthritis Foundation have joined forces to host the third annual Healing Hands for Arthritis, a one-day national event to build awareness and raise funds to fight arthritis.

On Sept. 18, Massage Envy’s 24 Washington state clinics and spas — including one in Redmond at 17214 Redmond Way — will donate $10 from every one-hour massage session or facial to the Arthritis Foundation.  Over the past two years, this one-day nationwide event has raised more than $1 million for the Arthritis Foundation, with Massage Envy in Washington state donating more than $30,000. To make an appointment, contact a local Massage Envy by visiting the Massage Envy website (http://www.massageenvy.com/regions/WA/Seattle.aspx). Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

All proceeds donated during Healing Hands for Arthritis will support the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide efforts to prevent, control and cure arthritis. In addition, Murad, Massage Envy Spa’s exclusive skin care partner, Wyndmere and BioFreeze will each donate 10 percent of all sales from their products sold at Massage Envy Spa locations during the event to the Arthritis Foundation.
