Discussing city traffic improvements | Letter

A few months ago, our mayor addressed the residents of Redmond in this Redmond Reporter and claimed that the city had done “lots of things” to improve traffic.

I challenge the mayor to list — since he used the term “lots” — five things his administration has done to improve traffic and include measurable results. A measurable result would be: on average between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on a weekday, it used to take 45 minutes to get from Trader Joe’s to Redmond High, but now it takes 30 minutes.
