I was impressed by Brent Schmaltz’s Feb. 19 letter, “Reader’s solution to Redmond’s traffic problem.” In a nutshell, the solution was creative and in the spirit of “Target Zero,” a state initiative to improve safety. The proposed solution makes a lot of sense and I know from personal driving (commuting) that Willows Road is very congested. I hope the city planners take a look at the proposal from a fellow Redmondite.
