Blues on the Slough will kick off from 6-9 p.m. on July 16 in the garden plaza behind the Redmond Senior Center, 8703 160th Ave. N.E. Emerald Heights will sponsor the free, all-ages concert series.
The opening event will feature Little Bill and the Blue Notes with special guest Lee Oskar.
Multi-award-winning singer and bassist Little Bill Engelhart has been a working musician for more than 50 years and has opened for B.B. King, Little Richard, Albert Collins and more. His band consists of Rod Cook on guitar and Russ Kammerer on drums. The group plays a wide variety of styles, including blues, jazz, country and originals.
