Concert to benefit Hopelink

Seventeen-year-old vocal talent Caprielle Symonne will perform with Seattle area musicians in a concert to benefit Hopelink's "End Summer Hunger" campaign at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 24 in the Redmond High School Performing Arts Center, 17272 NE 104th St.

Seventeen-year-old vocal talent Caprielle Symonne will perform with Seattle area musicians in a concert to benefit Hopelink’s “End Summer Hunger” campaign at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 24 in the Redmond High School Performing Arts Center, 17272 NE 104th St.

Tickets at the door are $5, or $3 with two donated canned food products.

The evening will include R & B, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz and Gospel music.

Symonne, a senior at Redmond High School, has been singing since the age of four. She has shared her gift of singing throughout her childhood and teen years, performing at local community events, schools and churches.

For her high school senior project, Symonne aspired to work on a project that would impact the community in a positive way. Hopelink’s “End Summer Hunger” campaign provides food for needy children when school is not in session and they do not have access to free or reduced-price breakfasts and lunches at school.
