Ed Lincoln, creator of the ‘Toe Truck’ to promote his memoir at Borders in Redmond Town Center

Woodinville resident Ed Lincoln will be at Borders in Redmond Town Center, 16549 NE 74th St., on Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. for a reading and signing of his memoir, “Life Through the Rearview Mirror.”

Lincoln is a Seattle entrepreneur and the name behind Lincoln Towing and the company’s well-known pink “Toe Truck,” which is currently on display at Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry. Lincoln’s book discusses his reasons for creating the toe truck, his narrow escape from one of the deadliest fires in U.S. history and the surprising things he’s learned about business and people while peddling everything from Christmas trees to Corvettes and frogs to Fun Meters.
