‘King of Kong’ doing meet and greet to raise money for breast cancer walk

Meet Steve Wiebe, local guy and star of the popular documentary “The King of Kong.” Wiebe, a Redmond resident and teacher in the Lake Washington School District, will sign autographs and pose for pictures with "Donkey Kong" fans of all ages from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at the Big Time Brewery, 4133 University Way NE in Seattle.

Wiebe, a Redmond resident and teacher in the Lake Washington School District, will sign autographs and pose for pictures with “Donkey Kong” fans of all ages from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at the Big Time Brewery, 4133 University Way NE in Seattle. Suggested donation is $5 and all proceeds from the “Gamers for Gazoongas” event will benefit a local team of eight Redmond moms called The Rack Attack, who will participate in the Sept. 24-26 Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure.
