Old Fire House Teen Center schedules back-to-school event, seeks teen designers and crafters

A Back-to-School Bash, featuring arts, crafts and a thrift store fashion show, is scheduled from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10 at the Old Fire House (OFH) Teen Center, 16510 NE 79th St. in downtown Redmond. Admission is $7 at the door or $5 with a winter coat donation for foster kids.

The OFH is seeking designers, ages 13-18 to sell and trade their clothing creations from thrift store items. A runway fashion show will take place at 8 p.m.

Also, “do-it-yourselfers,” artists and crafters, ages 13-18, can sell and trade their creations at a limited number of craft tables. All enrollees must sign up by Wednesday, Aug. 25.

The Back-to-School Bash will conclude with a dance party from 9-11 p.m.
