Interested guests are also invited to take part in Acappella 101, a five week-vocal production class series that is incorporated into the chorus’s weekly Tuesday evening rehearsal schedule. Classes for Acappella 101 start on Feb. 3 and continue through the month of March. Specific class instruction will be from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and are free of charge.

Musical knowledge is not necessary to join — voice training and music education are valuable components of members’ benefits. Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of chorus directors and leaders. The Pacific Sound Chorus performs regularly throughout the community, offering its talent for entertainment at civic events and charitable functions.
