Premiere Performance Company in Redmond to hold HOPE show and silent auction event Feb. 11-12

On Feb. 11 and 12, Premiere Performance Company (PPC), a nonprofit dance organization based in Redmond, will present their annual HOPE show and silent auction charity event.

On Feb. 11 and 12, Premiere Performance Company (PPC), a nonprofit dance organization based in Redmond, will present their annual HOPE show and silent auction charity event.

Attendees can enjoy appetizers, desserts and drinks while watching performances featuring tap, hip-hop, jazz, contemporary and ballet dance styles. There will also be a silent auction featuring items such as tickets to the 5th Avenue Theater, Disneyland vacations and Mariners tickets as well as passes to local theaters, yoga classes from Village Green Yoga in Issaquah, landscape design from Landsculpt and a wide variety of gift certificates from local businesses and restaurants such as Novilhos’s Brazilian Steak House and Schwartz Brothers restaurants among many others.

Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Premiere Performance Company, the Premiere Dance Center Competition Team and provide dance scholarships for children in need.

The HOPE show will be at Premiere Dance Center located at 2623 151st Pl. N.E., Building 2 in Redmond. Tickets are $35-45 and available at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/221962.

PPC, comprised of local choreographers and students, is based at Premiere Dance Center, a studio that was started nine years ago by local dance impresario Carolyn Farrar. The studio has received first-place awards at local and national competitions. Recently at the NRG Dance Competition, Premiere Performance Company received four scholarships and four overall first place trophies, receiving more $2,700 cash prizes. Premiere dancer Dakota Harwood was nominated NRG prodigy, the top honor at this competition.
