Redmond High graduates ready for the ‘real world’

The 433 members of the Redmond High School (RHS) Class of 2010 celebrated their commencement Tuesday, June 15 at Key Arena. Guest speakers were graduates Claire Asplund, Thomas Moore, Molly Orr and senior class president Franny Wolman.

The 433 members of the Redmond High School (RHS) Class of 2010 celebrated their commencement Tuesday, June 15 at Key Arena.

Guest speakers were graduates Claire Asplund, Thomas Moore, Molly Orr and senior class president Franny Wolman.

The program included music by the RHS combined bands, directed by Andrew Robertson and RHS combined choirs, directed by Arianna Guthrie.

Faculty members who spoke at the ceremony included RHS principal Jane Todd and counselor Ellen Zambrowsky-Huls.

The RHS graduating class included 13 National Merit Finalists, 14 National Merit Commended Students, one Washington Scholar, a United States Presidential Scholar Semi-Finalist and three candidates for this award, three National Hispanic Scholars and numerous recipients of the President’s Award for Educational Excellence, Washington State Honors Award and Washington Principals’ Scholar Award.
