Redmond Senior Center hosts ‘Rock’n on the River’ concert series

Redmond Senior Center will host its free outdoor concert series, "Rock'n on the River," in July and August. Concerts will take place on the Redmond Municipal Campus in the Garden Plaza behind the senior center.

Redmond Senior Center will host its free outdoor concert series, “Rock’n on the River,” in July and August. Concerts will take place on the Redmond Municipal Campus in the Garden Plaza behind the senior center.

The following all-ages concerts are from 6:30-8:30 p.m.:

• July  22 — Little Bill & The Blues. Little Bill Engelhart has opened for BB King, Little Richard, Albert Collins and more.

• July 29 — Black Velvet Band. The band performs blues and classic rock songs.

• Aug. 5 — The Spyrographs. The five-piece band plays the best spy, pop and surf hits of the 1960s.

• Aug. 12 — The Nowhere Men. Their goal is to create a live musical experience that comes as close as possible to The Beatles.
