Redmond’s Digital Arts Festival is currently seeking digital artists to submit their digital films or 2-dimensional artwork for the festival’s short-film screening and exhibition of digital artwork.

All artwork created or manipulated digitally is welcome. Artists can submit their artwork online at www.redmondartsfestival.com.

Prizes of up to $2500 for First Prize will be awarded to the best works submitted to the festival.

The art submitted must be original, created digitally (2D or 3D – still or video) and submitted by the artist.

Photography and live action are allowed as long as the result could not have been accomplished without the assistance of digital technology. Registrants are limited to three submissions. All submissions are due by August 31, 2008. Selected pieces will be announced through e-mail on Sept. 8 and all selected pieces must arrive to the festival site by no later than Sept. 30.
