Redwood Theatre closes 2009-10 season with ‘A…My Name Will Always Be Alice’

Redwood Theatre closes its 2009-2010 season with “A…My Name Will Always Be Alice,” an amalgamation of the 1984 award winning Off-Broadway musical review “A…My Name is Alice” and its 1992 sequel “A…My Name is Still Alice.”

Performances begin at 8 p.m. Friday, April 23 at the Redmond Senior Center located on the Redmond Municipal Campus, 8703 160th Ave. NE. Shows continue Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. through Saturday, May 8.

Tickets are available from www.brownpapertickets.com. Adult tickets are $20. Senior (60+) and youth tickets (under 18) are $15. Ratings notice: Some subject matter may not be appropriate for all audiences.

Directed by Art Anderson, with music direction by Kimberly Dare, “A…My Name Will Always Be Alice” is a heartfelt tribute to “Everywoman.”

The Redwood Theatre ensemble features Loretta Deranleau Howard, Antonia Darlene, Iris Elton, Amber Cutlip, Kelley Faulkner, Alison Monda and Erin Sprow, who all play several different characters throughout the review.
