The Seattle Chamber Music Society presents its 2009 Summer Festival on the Eastside from Aug. 5-14 at The Overlake School, 20301 NE 108th St., Redmond.

The concert series features soloists and recitalists from some of the world’s top orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, San Francisco, Detroit and Seattle Symphonies and more.

Admission to performances in the Fulton Performing Arts Center at The Overlake School vary in price, according to the program.

Admission is free for the Music Under the Stars program. Visitors can listen to pre-concert recitals and main concert broadcasts live outdoors; the musicians will not be visible. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and a picnic basket. Box dinners can be pre-ordered and desserts and beverages can be purchased on-site.

In the case of rain, seating for the free listening will be available at the Campus Center at The Overlake School.
