SecondStory Rep takes on ‘Chicago’ Feb. 3-26

SecondStory Repertory at 16587 N.E. 74th St. in Redmond Town Center will present “Chicago” from Feb. 3-26.

With music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, the musical is set in prohibition-era Chicago when gin joints, fast cars and glamorous murderesses were all the rage. “Chicago” originally opened on Broadway in 1975 and is the longest-running Broadway musical revival.

The SecondStory production is directed and choreographed by Christopher Nardine, with musical direction by Paul Linnes.

“Chicago” will be at SecondStory Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays Feb. 12, 19 and 26 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students, seniors, educators and military. There will also be a pay-what-you-can preview Feb. 2 at 8 p.m.
